Small Wimbledon bathroom

This was another project where Simply Bathrooms completely transformed a small, dark and cold bathroom into something modern and contemporary. 

Our customer’s wanted a bold bathroom design, befit of a boutique style hotel. We designed their space with a bright eclectic mix of colour, pattern and product to create a quirky but personal design with a touch of luxury. The end result was truly unique - just like the couple we designed it for.

‘Wake up next to people who make you feel happy’ this gorgeous print was the mantra behind creating this vibrant space. We designed this family bathroom to have an eclectic luxurious vibe with a homely, characterful style – our customer wanted a quirky but personal feel, so we mixed unique products and furniture with more rustic materials and pattern. All alongside a bright and fun collection of modern art for that personal touch.

Our customer had a particularly awkwardly sized room that needed updating, a small shower enclosure and a lack of built in storage or worktop space. We reworked the layout, created a larger walk-in fully tiled wet room and moved the wc to allow for a larger vanity area.

You will see from the instagram reels how we always strip everything back to brickwork within our projects, refurbishing all the pipework and rebuilding the bathroom again so it is guaranteed for decades to come.

To balance the two tricky window sizes, we built in boxing with a wooden worktop. Not only does this bring down the eye-line, aligning a focal point along the room but it conceals the pipework and cistern, creating useable worktop space with tiling to protect key splash zones without the need for overwhelming the space with a full wall of tiles.
